The Tale of Two Games (US -0, France -1)(US -3, Slovenia -2)

US loses to France 1-0 on November 11th in a Game where they played pretty good D, but lacked any sort of creativity or motivation to score and get numbers in the box.  And against France it is tough to keep them out of the goal, so it was inevitable that they put one in.

Jozy and a few others looked solid, but we were all still waiting for this Attacking that Jurgen promised.

4 days later, US beat Slovenia 3-2.  Finally some offense and desire to attack the goal.  Granted Slovenia isn’t as good as France, but they just looked like they all could and wanted to score.  The D lacked what they had against France and all the past games under Klinsmann.  I blame it on the fog.

The second half got a little sketchy but the boys hung on, and got a good win in Europe and was the most exciting game so far under Jurgen.

Jozy, Dempsey, Johnson, and a few others showed that they can dominate!
