The Hype

Soooooooo….. about Saturday…..

It was disappointing, even devastating to lose to our rivals Mexico. We know that you gave it all in the stands that night, in your chapter bars, or maybe from your couch if you couldn’t handle the stress of being in public.

Tonight the United States men’s national team returns to the field against Costa Rica.

Too soon? It kinda feels like it.

After the match captain Michael Bradley said something (https://youtu.be/xeMK7FB8xtQ) that resonated with us:

“You have two choices. You can feel sorry for yourself and dwell on things, or you can continue to push forward, look at the things that could be better both individually and collectively and see if we can use this as a way to really improve ourselves.”

Next month World Cup Qualifying (#RussianToTheWorldCup) begins anew through 2017, next summer could bring Copa America Centenario (the soap opera continues), and with every game on the schedule comes another chance to “push forward”.

Love is never easy. Sometimes it hurts. But it almost always makes us a stronger people and a better people.

Coaches and players come and go. The team and the country they represent remain.

And so do we; in support of the team and this country.

We #PushForward.

XOXO,

AO
